All summer last year, all of it, whenever i sat still somewhere, be it behind a desk, be it in a lounge chair, anywhere really. I would sit, and all i would think about, beyond trying to occupy myself, was the stuff that hung over my belt. it was embarrassing, to finally have my eating catch up to me, and to look like shit in my own opinion. Anyone else can have an opinion of me and ill give two shits, but when my own opinion was “you look like shit dude”. It was misery. A misery i finally grabbed by the horns and did something about in october, when i started doing DDPY.
Its become a passion of mine and something i enjoy doing, albeit i still take some convincing every day to get me on the mat, but i’m getting better about it every single time i do it. And it shows.
I have Lost 10kg (about 22 pounds) with no running, with no weights except my own, and with no impact. i feel healthy, i feel stronger than i’ve ever done. And its only getting better the more time passes. All of a sudden my core is showing on my outside, rather than my gut. and i smile, rather than cringe when i look in the mirror. I have kept up as best as i can with doing it twice a day, and will keep that as theme, even if i havent posted on it and we are coming up on march. I keep saying, once i have my computer at hand, it will be coming out actively. Let me promise this an extra time. it will be a consistent thing on my website for the duration of the P.U.C And will continue to be a thing in my life beyond that as well. Though i might add weight training and more of that into my routines, DDPY will stay with me for stretches and core training for as long as i can keep it up! Well worth the spend, even for a student like me! <3
