Unless you’ve just woken up from a coma or live with natives in the Amazon rain forest who have no access to internet, you will have heard of Coronavirus. Or COVID-19.

Most places and countries have completely shut down, and even though it’s blown completely way out of proportion, it’s already happening. So here is all you need to know about living in quarantine, self imposed or not.

First of all. Don’t bulk buy. You idiot.

Secondly, this is a great time if you are an introvert, and/or a gamer. You no longer have to worry about cancelling tonight’s plans or hosting a party. No one wants to leave the house anymore. Keep yourself occupied, watch Youtube videos, or make some videos for Youtube. Download some cool apps that look like fun. Work out in the comfort of your house. Or play countless hours on video games. The latest addition to Animal Crossing is coming out soon, so fans of the series are already sorted. You won’t be seeing us even after this whole debacle is over with.

If you are a parent with bored kids, you’re on your own there. I am not a parent, so you should look for tips elsewhere.

However please don’t skip out on basic hygiene. You should have washed your hands even if there isn’t a global pandemic happening in the real world. Please continue to wash your hands, and do not sneeze without covering your mouth. For more information, you can visit the WHO website: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/advice-for-public

As for me, when I’m not doing these things I mentioned above, I will be enjoying the outdoors. Now that everyone is barricading themselves inside, I can finally enjoy a people free leisurely stroll in town.
